Pyramid Healthcare conducts needs assessments as part of the admissions process. These assessments allow us to identify the type of addiction an individual suffers from and develop a highly individualized and effective treatment plan and enter an addiction recovery program.
Assessments determine a client’s current status or situation and compare it to their goals, allowing us to find the gaps between those current and desired states while identifying and measuring areas of improvement. The unfulfilled needs required to close the identified gaps are considered the barriers to achieving one’s desired quality of life.
The assessment process also allows the client, as well as medical and psychological professionals, to establish treatment priorities. This can assist in determining the best course of action while planning a addiction recovery treatment program to include detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient treatment, or other forms of support. Our program summary sheet details the services offered at each facility, and can be used to locate the appropriate treatment location closest to you.
Pyramid Healthcare also provides mobile assessment services for those unable to come on-site for a full, face-to-face assessment. Mobile assessments take place at a location convenient for the client, and a Pyramid Healthcare professional will use the process to determine what type of care the individual needs and assist them in developing an addiction recovery treatment program.
A Pyramid Healthcare admissions professional will verify that any addiction recovery treatment services are covered by the individual’s insurance provider during the assessment process, whether it takes place on-site or is a mobile assessment.
Any subsequent referrals to community resources are based on the identified needs and best interest of the individual. If we believe that our addiction recovery services may not be compatible with a client’s needs, we can provide outside referrals to ensure that the individual receives the type of care best suited to them.
We do not discriminate against any patient in relation to admission, treatment, discharge, continuing care or employment based on race, color, religion, creed, national origin, sex, disability (including limited English proficiency) or sexual orientation. We offer priority admission to at-risk populations including IV drug users, adolescents, women, women with children, veterans, overdose survivors and preferential treatment services to pregnant women. Pyramid Healthcare, Inc. employees and the public may contact the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities to report any concerns or register complaints about a CARF accredited health care organization by calling (866) 510-2273 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If a completed assessment indicates that an individual should pursue treatment, Pyramid Healthcare can arrange for complimentary transportation to and from any Pyramid Healthcare inpatient facility. We employ 40 drivers and operate 57 vehicles to serve all clients who need transportation in order to receive addiction recovery treatment, whether it is inpatient, outpatient, Methadone Maintenance Therapy, or detoxification. All Pyramid Healthcare drivers are trained in CPR, as well as relevant emergency and safety procedures. Treatment-related transportation for clients is available 24/7.
