Our transitional housing services, located in Allegheny and Blair Counties, are designed to reintegrate men and women involved with the criminal justice system and suffering with a drug or alcohol addiction by providing them the opportunity to begin a sober, healthy, and lawful life.
We offer a supportive living environment designed to give adults the chance to continue their journey to recovery through outpatient treatment, 12-step meetings, job training, educational opportunities, and sober recreational activities.
What’s Included in Transitional Housing Programs?
We provide fully-equipped and furnished apartments located near main bus hubs. Trained staff are on-duty 24 hours a day to provide assistance and answer any questions. We also help individuals acquire mental health or drug and alcohol treatment, Medical Assistance, GED preparation, links to supportive programs, and other services that can contribute to an individual successfully maintaining their sobriety through transitional housing programs.
Referrals for our transitional housing program often come from the Allegheny and Blair County jails, drug and alcohol treatment providers (through the Allegheny County Bureau of Drug & Alcohol Services and Blair Drug and Alcohol Partnerships), mental health or drug court, adult probation, and state parole officers.
