Pyramid Healthcare announced today its plans to open an adult and adolescent intensive mental health outpatient and behavioral health treatment programs and assessment center, the first of which will be located in North Fulton, Georgia in fall 2018.

Pyramid Family Behavioral Healthcare will fulfill a need within the community for additional behavioral health programming, as part of the organization’s overall mission to make mental health services more accessible and convenient.

This is Pyramid Healthcare’s first treatment program in Georgia. Pyramid Healthcare and its subsidiaries currently operates over 80 treatment facilities in 5 states with varying levels of care.

“Pyramid Healthcare is proud to be able to develop these necessary services and we look forward to making a positive impact on the lives of people in Atlanta and the surrounding areas who are struggling with mood and anxiety disorders,” said Tom Connell, Executive Director.

Pyramid Family Behavioral Healthcare is a health services company that strives to enrich the lives they touch and empower them to make and sustain change and stability, supporting them in reaching their greatest potential. Through clinical excellence and compassionate care, Pyramid Family Behavioral Healthcare will employ evidence-based, best practices while making care more accessible. While determined to meet the needs of both the individual and the family, Pyramid Family Behavioral Healthcare believes that close collaboration with community partners builds the foundation to achieve the best outcomes.

Pyramid Family Behavioral Healthcare will offer outpatient mental health programs that typically meet three days per week for three hours per day for adults and adolescents. Programs will focus on mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder, and treating substance abuse when secondary to the primary mental health issues.

Pyramid Family Behavioral Healthcare offers an Assessment Center service to provide clients and families with the immediate response, clarity and guidance they need on the wide variety of behavioral health issues that families are facing today. The Assessment Center can clinically identify and provide treatment options for adolescents and adults with mental health conditions, substance use disorders and eating disorders, while helping to navigate the broad range of treatment provider and service options, accessing appropriate resources and solutions based on individual need.
