Preparing to enter a program

When you arrive at Pyramid Healthcare for inpatient rehabilitation expect to receive a warm welcome from staff. You will be assigned a room, introduced to a big brother or big sister and will be made to feel at home by both staff and other members of the recovering community.

At Pyramid Healthcare You Will Receive:

  • The highest quality care from trained counseling, medical and psychiatric staff with up-to-date resources related to your recovery
  • Full days of structured activities from wake-up at 6:30 a.m. until lights out at 10:30 p.m. including lectures, group therapy, and other activities related to recovery
  • A safe and comfortable facility
  • Meals prepared by our dietary staff (We will accommodate any special dietary requirements)
  • Family visitation times

What To Bring With You:

  • Insurance card or medical assistance information
  • Clothing for 7 days - must be appropriate - no form fitting
  • Personal hygiene items (please do not bring any aerosol cans, glass bottles, or any item with alcohol listed as the first ingredient)
  • Bible and other religious readings are optional
  • A.A. Big Book, N.A. Book and other recovery material
  • Minimal amount of cash - $25.00 for vending machines

What Not To Bring:

  • Radio, Ipod®, CD players, tapes or CDs
  • Over the counter medications
  • Food items
  • Magazines or non-recovery related literature
  • Pocket knives or any sharp items
  • Nail polish, perfumes or cologne (men & women)
  • Cell phones and pagers
  • Personal vehicles
  • No tobacco products for adolescent programs
