Adolescent Group Home / Partial Hospitalization Programs

Skyline and Winterhaven Lodges: Blandburg Girls Group Homes -
Kate Miller, Program Director

Program Description:

We believe that adolescents need a structured, safe, supportive and caring environment. Many factors can disrupt an adolescent’s environment: family problems, school problems, personal issues or legal problems. When a disruption occurs, temporary placement outside the community is often necessary. Through treatment and coordination with community agencies, most, if not all, children can return to their family or home community. Family reunification is the goal, if feasible. All Shelter/Group Home treatment efforts will be designed to normalize the adolescent’s behavior. The treatment will provide a caring, structured, therapeutic program of individual and group therapy.

An adolescent partial hospitalization program is offered at this site for those clients who need this program component.
