Adolescent Group Home / Partial Hospitalization Programs

Blandburg Boys & Girls Group Homes

William Hughes, Program Director

Skyline Lodge - Boys

Winterhaven Lodge - Girls

Skyline Lodge (boys) and Winterhaven Lodge (girls) provide a safe, therapeutic setting designed for adolescents unable to function in their home, community, or transitioning from a higher level of care.

Many factors can disrupt an adolescent’s environment: family problems, school problems, personal issues or legal problems. When a disruption occurs, temporary placement is often necessary. Through treatment and coordination with community agencies, most, if not all, children can return to their family or home community.

Every adolescent comes to us with unique experiences and treatment requirements. We address these needs by offering therapeutic interventions and an individual treatment plan that offer specialized categories of care:

Mental Health Partial Hospitalization Program

This program offers psychiatric evaluations, medication management, group therapy, individual therapy, team-building groups, experiential therapy, psycho-educational groups, family therapy, and parent support.

Sexually Reactive Youth Program for Boys (Skyline Lodge)
This program is designed to address the very specific treatment needs and behaviors of adolescents with sexual issues.
Click here for information on our sexually reactive youth program.

School Program
The Glendale School District curriculum is used as a guide to ensure instruction most suited to the student’s academic ability. We are approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education as a private provider of alternative education; students are taught the core subjects: reading, science, mathematics, social studies and English.
